По поводу полов
Праздно шарахаясь по всякого рода англоязычным ресурсам дарксоуловской тематики, неоднократно натыкалась на обсуждения нескольких персонажей, которые вызвали у меня некоторое недоумение. Таких персонажа три, и все вопросы касаются их пола.1. Великий волк Сиф. Вполне обыденно зарубежные фанаты говорят о нем в женском роде. Тут я понимаю откуда ноги растут, аналогия с богиней Сиф из скандинавского пантеона. Вопрос: есть ли где-то в игре или, может быть, в интервью разработчиков указание на пол любимца Арториаса? Или какие-то потерянные описания из японского первоисточника?
2. Прячущийся во Тьме. Тут я в первый раз зашла в тупик. Большая часть обсуждавших этого персонажа людей окрестила его женским родом; я даже находила опросник, где Дарклуркер как женщина победил с большим отрывом. Никак не пойму, почему? Потому что у него ногти длинные? Или кто-то, не присматриваясь, решил, что скрещенная на груди вторая пара рук это и есть женская грудь? Фигура-то явно не женская, руки крупные, мужские, да и ноги тоже. Кто-то там же говорил, что, мол, в игре о нем говорится в среднем роде, поэтому пол ему давать некорректно. Это я еще могу кое-как понять. Но чтобы женщина...
3. Гвиндолин. Это прям довольно свежее явление, и, каюсь, нашла его в первую очередь на ресурсах с фанфикшном, хотя позже стала замечать и в других местах. В более старых обсуждениях Гвиндолин упоминается и как "он", и как "она" (видимо, теми, для кого истина оказалась тяжела :D), а теперь все чаще стала натыкаться на совершенно сломавшее мне голову "они". Откуда "они"-то взялось? Да, его облик для нового игрока мог оказаться смущающим, но непосредственно в игре белым по черному неоднократно написано - последний сын Гвина. Почему тогда "они"? Такое своеобразное обозначение гермафродитизма? У меня даже никаких идей нет.
Очень хотелось бы узнать ваше мнение по этому поводу, может, я просто каких-то очевидных вещей в упор не замечаю)

Нарисовал Забытую Грешницу - любимого босса из четырёх Древних :)
Старался применить технику ТруЪ-живописи, и кажись получается понемногу.
