После долгих попыток геймер The Happy Hob прошёл все части Dark Souls, ни разу не получив урона от врагов. На это игроку потребовался почти год. Несколько недель назад у The Happy Hob получилось дойти до финального босса Soul of Cinder, но там персонаж получил урон. Неудача не остановила энтузиаста и показала, что прохождение Dark Souls без потерь здоровья всё-таки возможно, поэтому на днях геймер повторил попытку и добился успеха.

Отметим, что потери здоровья из-за падений и яда не учитывались — к поражению приводил только урон от мобов и боссов. Помимо этого, некоторые игроки специально подставляют героя под удар, чтобы активировать Red Tearstone Ring и другие предметы, которые усиливают урон при низком уровне здоровья, но The Happy Hob не пользовался этими методами.

Подобные забеги — не в новинку для The Happy Hob. Геймер был первым, кто прошёл оригинальную Dark Souls без урона в 2016 году. Тогда упорство игрока удивило геймдизайнера серии Хидекату Миядзаки, о чём тот упомянул в одном из интервью.

Для разнообразия The Happy Hob начинал прохождение с последней части трилогии и заканчивал первой. Все детали и трюки, которые использовались геймером, изложены в FAQ на Reddit.
